| I really like this composition. I feel it displays socioeconomic separatism at its worst. Hopefully, this is not the case but if you were trying to make such a statement, this would nail it on the head. The 3 girls hugging look like uniformed private school students while the girl who is left out looks as though she definitely is not. This is my definition of "Innocent" bystander. |

| Marvelous candid! I am drawn first to the hugging girls, with the white shirt, and whose energy is much stronger. Then I explore the image and discover the little girl, left out. Beautiful. |

I think this is my favorite. Couldn't be better for the challenge, but regardless, it's such a real event, and there's emotion. I maybe would have cropped it lower and higher to really focus on the elation of the group vs. the girl all alone, but that's me. (I guess there would have been a funny crop on a background face there.) Nice one. 10
Question though: Can you make out what's on the girl's arm? |
