Oh, very well done. I have visited this museum and have met that horse (more than once!). Your interpretation is just excellent and well worthy of the fine placement that you received. |

What a wonderful image. Some here say the quality of work here has gone down. Obviously they spoke too soon, and had not yet seen this image. You chose well for this entry. It is my favorite of the two choices as well. The choice of tones for this image really added to the effect. Congratulations on a very well deserved first blue. I imagine we will be seeing many more from you. |

Hello,
My name is Mikasi and was hoping you could give me a quick tip or three. See, I am trying to improve my photography and to do this I am contacting a couple photographer who have done photos I like and wish I could do. You photo, Undone, is really good - the tones are fantastic, it has a wonderful depth to it, it just looks great.
I was wondering if you could tell me a couple of the things you did to bring out the qualities in this shot. You are busy and if you don't write back, that's understandable (in fact I only want short ideas because you likely are really busy) but know that if you did write back I would appreciate it.

ahhhhh...a butterfield horse, my friend has one in his home.
she also makes them out of found objects and scrap metal but i like the ones she does from branches better.

The duotone and lighting set the mood in this. I was intrigued and captivated until I realized it was a museum shot, which ruined the otherworldly feel of it in a way. 8 |

My favourite in the Free Study this month. Love the two tone processing, and that horse looks like its going to come alive and start climbing the stairs. Awesome. |
