 The Port Of Liverpool building. I had no intention of entering this - it was an outtake from my Achitecture challenge possibles... but I signed up as a full member yesterday so decided to just submit it into the Free Study - just because I want to keep entering challenges with a view to improve.

Editing steps - something I am not good at yet..

Straighten, perspective adjust, crop.
Convert to B&W
Levels
Some dodge and burn.
Resize
USM
Save for web

I could have done a better job of the editing but only decided to put an entry in with a couple of hours left in the challenge.

Beautiful building, and beautifully exposed. This image is interesting to me because my grandfather worked in the shipping industry in Liverpool before he brought his family to Australia (1923) and this would have been part of his world. Thank you for showing it to me.
