 it was a partly cloudy day in Evan Lake a calm pound near Qazvin City and I just wondered it would be nice to share the beauty of these reflections with my friends. here are some other pics for preview, however the real beauty of the images will appear when you see them in full size where the waves and small ripples are distinguishable.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Excellent use of the reflection - coupled with the grain, it very much has a painting feel about it. The amplitude of the waves is perfect - it adds interest without obliterating the tree line.

Critical stuff: The brownish area bottom left of the image is a little distracting - a crop or clone here may have been in order.

Overall: Very nice image.

Very well done. Looks like an impressionest painting. The long shutter speed (I assume) here has given it an ethereal quality.
