Like many of your images, this just keeps me looking and looking. I'm pretty sure I'll be doing you the honour of not entering 'your' challenge, because ... well, there is just no way, and I wouldn't want to insult you with something ordinary. |

There seems to be a recent trend in moody, darkish shots with a lone or isolated figure. Not always so though but a good series recently. The diminutive old man with cane takes on a huge presence in spite of himself. (I hope you can stand all the attention.)

Nick congrats on the challenge in your honor! .. have just spent an hour or so being inspired by your great collection of simplistic story telling shots and one day hope to be able to see a fraction of what you do! |

The streets in NY just aren't positioned the same. This is just too wonderful. |

The place is fabulous, and the early evening light is great. The person with the walking stick and the unusual pose add a great element of curiosity to the image. The B&W gives it a very "film camera" sort of look. Thanks for sharing this little scene with us. |

My bologna has a first name, it's O S C A R! LOL! Sorry, that's what popped into my head. How in the world am I supposed to emulate this style? There's such character in the little ol' man's (ladies?) posture. Bravo! |
