| Good shot, I would have been tempted to grunge it up with some curve editing but the brightness makes an interesting foil to the tawdriness... |

| Feels very voyeuristic. I picture you in the bushes with a telephoto. Maybe it works here. The processing, especially on the girl, doesn't feel quite right. |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: There are a number of features of this image that I like - the slightly tone-mapped look suits that suits the image; the story behind the girl and the shop - we wonder if she works there or at the adjacent property - we wonder what she makes of you as you take the shot. I like the overall composition too - where you have placed the various elements within your frame.
Critical stuff: Not much - the deep shadow on her face means we don't have eye-contact. I'm not sure if that would improve the image any but it would certainly be different.
Overall: A great offering. |
