 Grinding wheel with an iron screw rubbing against it.
Converted to black and white in Photoshop, adjusted contrast, shadows/highlights, and levels.
For some reason I think the illuminated hand makes it.

Beautifully understated! On many monitors this may be too dark, but it works quite well on mine. Lovely!

Can't believe no comments on this. I think overall it is an OK photo. If the hand and wheel itself were a bit lighter I think it would have placed higher, but what do I know ;-)
