Mutual support since the vine is sort of hugging the wire which is holding up the vine.
Actually followed the challenge description to find something rusted and compose an image around it; do I get extra credit? ;-) This is a Morning Glory vine I convinced to twirl up some rusty wires on a hanging planter which is currently empty. Kind of like the contrast between the green and the rust, delicate/young and solid/old, and the light and bokeh is really pretty.
Morning light; 20mm extension tube.
PP - tonemapped in qtpfsgui (pregamma 0.697, mantiuk method, contrast mapping 0.1, saturation factor 1.029, detail factor 1), merged with original at 20% transparency, flipped, rotates, cropped, increased contrast, resized, sharpened, added border. |

Bumping this to a seven. Nicely composed with great twists, textures and tones. |

Wonderful shot. Bokeh is kinda distracting. But still the subject is prominent enough to draw attention. |

I like the idea but IMHO the rusty colors should have been more visible... |
