A sunflower from my wife's garden, in to the basement "studio". Single flash camera left with a homemade honeycomb grid, 1/8 power (580 EXII), through some Home Depot blinds. Actually triggered with my 7D instead of the ST E2. Held up the mirror with my free hand.
Post processing: crop, resize, , Topaz sharpen, VirtualPhotographer filter ("reminisce", I think, was the setting), border, save for DPC.

Despite  tanguera's suggestion that this is front page material, and a  posthumous comment indicating he is pleased, this is going to struggle to stay above 6. I am disappoint. :(( |

| You certainly have created a very alluring and dramatic mood. I love the horizontal lines in the reflection, with the diagonal shadows on the vase. Mesmerizing image. Front page. |
