Did something like this for the first time, to know how it is done and because I think this is contemporary still life - and I think I did it quite well (favs and comments show i'm not completely wrong. A bit disappointed it is being rated lower, just because it has often been seen on DPC. So have robber flies, long exposure rocky coastlines et al. Think about it before voting.

Golly! WHAT happened here? Your image is so much better than mine. *sigh*

It should have scored higher than mine, thus beating me in the Beat Your Own Average side challenge.

In any case, you certainly didn't make it easy for me. :)

Been done so, so, so many times before, but despite the lack of originality, it is an aesthetically pleasing photo. As a technical exercise it really can't be faulted.

refractions and wine glasses are so overdone on this site it's ridiculous but this is at least a very pleasing image and great technicals 6

ETA i need to bump this shot a notch to 7 it is much more well done than i gave it credit for previously even if it is overdone.
