thanks all for your comments ... i realized that i would get some 'doesn't meet the challenge' comments, just hoped they had been a few less. oh, well. i did appreciate the rest of the comments on the photo, which were overall very positive ... thanks! :)

The blue in this pic is too saturated, too close to B&W - but an excellent picture regardless. |

Not sure if this is true IR or not, but it is very nicely done. I think I could have done something close in this week's ice storm, but I didn't want to mess up my clothes walking to the tracks :-) 9 |

I think I'd long to get my head of that train track before the train comes! Good work. Lnede |

Definately an original take on digital infrared. Most digital infrared are in traditional black and white and I'm surprised that, in general, I haven't seen more toned digital infrareds. I have been trying to shoot sharp digital infareds with great difficulty - maybe after challenge is over you can give me a tip or two.. I really like the composition, good leading lines from forground to background, very clean composition and tonal range! |

It took me a min to to see the tracks, a higher perspective might have helped. The square white tree (centre right) detracts slightly. Overall a very good shot. |

Took me a minute to figure out the cam is on top of a railroad track. Pretty cool. But not enough blue in the picture. :( |

Great composition! I like IR-(like)-pictures! Didn't get why it should fit to the topic, but that's propably due to not beeing a native english speaker! |

I don't particularly see or feel the "BLUE", but this is still me favorite photo so far. |

Awesome shot. The angle is great, the now covered trees are awesome. The track looks awesome in the shot. Well done. the only problem is in the challenge... it doesn't fit the challenge perfectlym, though it does make sense in the challenge. Nice shot. |

This is great. I want to do IR photo's but I read my camera has something in it that makes it so they don't turn out that good. 9 -Jubei |
