I no longer own the 300D Canon that I used to take this image.

The only processing was a crop and slight adjustments in Viveza 2.

This may be a bit too graphic for some of our voters, but I was very pleased, with this Challenge, to have the opportunity to show this example of the beginning of a seal's life.

The seal on the right is another female who immediately tried to steal the newborn from its mom, on the left. A rather noisy and energetic battle ensued. Mom won.

After the challenge: Oh well, the graphic nature of this image must have put off our voters in the capture of the newborn pup, seconds after birth.
