had a hard time with this subject..... picture of a plain white t-shirt hanging on an old clothes line on a stormy day. resized, adjusted the temp and sat, sharpened, adjusted the contrast, and added a slight soft glow to the image, and clones a small tree top out of the lower left corner.... have no idea about this whole minimalism thing, tried a bunch of different pics, after lots of research, some very clean and contemporary feeling, and many others...but i kept coming back to this one.... to me, not only is the picture itself minimal, but so is the subject, like a walk back in time when things actually were minimal.... have a feeling it will get hammered, but at least i like this pic, and i might even get a print of this one to hang on our wall :)

Great idea. I want to like this more than I do, but I'm not crazy about the processing -- the halos around the objects.

I like the composition generally: "T" shape, single shirt, 2 lines, few holders, all against sky/cloud texture. Air drying is a kind of minimal approach to living. Unfortunately, the halos around the pole and shirt, whether from sharpening technique or other processing, knock this down several noches for me.

I have to admit, I can not stand halos on objects. I think it almost works here in this uber-contrasted black and white. But I still ultimately get bugged by the halos.

Awesome! I like the over-sharpening (never thought I would ever say that) but it really works here. 10

the blending of objects into background is not very good :(, unless that is the effect you wanted?

would have scored this a bit higher but for the graininess (but maybe you wanted that...)

I love the shot, but it´s overprocessed. You probably done that on purpose, but now the cross and the shirt have a halo which bother me a bit.

Halo around the shirt and post, etc detracts from a wonderful image. (not voting)

don't like the glow around the wohle subject, like the idea and the composition, though

The processing really makes this shot.
