What's up with the pink in his eyes and lips? The color of this is very distracting to what appears to be a fabulous representation of teenagerhood. I love the sharpness and the blank background. (not voting)

You have made an interesting choice of post processing the shot. Personally I think that the slightly pink eyes make him look ill.

First impression was that the red cast is off-putting. But, I think it actually enhances the "fantasy" feel of this image. The red in the eyes, pale skin and blank expression makes him "vampire-esque". 9
