 Salad, smoked chicken and baked potatoes, finished with a nice dressing. But this photo is just with some ingredients, since the dressing makes it looks very messy.

I thought I would see yours on the front page in this challenge. You do such a good job on food photos! In this one, the lettuce and dressing make my mouth water (yummy), but the DOF seems a bit too shallow.

I think this would have been better with more colour. I also find the reflection of the fork a bit distracting.

The part of the salad that is is focus is nice and crisp, but I wish it was more into the frame instead of being cut off.

wish i could see more of the food since that's what this picture is about...all i can see it lettuce and not sure what else is in the salad

Don't like the DOF. Pretty much makes the whole plate a blur thus hiding the more interesting elements.

I like how the background elements add a little bit of interest to a relatively dull subject (sorry, that's just my opinion!).
