Lens: Rokinon 8mm f/3.5mm Apherical Fisheye Lens Nikon mount (supposedly same maker as Bower/Samyang/Pro-Optics 8mm Fisheye)

Bought this manual <$300 lens in April for kicks. Went out to the coast and played with it for the first time. I haven't entered anything since April, so I'm just tossing this into the FS for fun. Couldn't think of a good title...

This is a beach on the northern Oregon coast. I haven't been to this particular beach in over twenty plus years. It's a nice place to unwind.

I'm glad someone ( bvy and Melethia) noticed my title :) There wasn't much I could do with the results. I kept thinking it looked like a nuke... then the driftwood...

The curved earth effect here is great. You have turned it into a feature of the photograph, where normally that level of distorsion is seen as a negative.....well done there.

However, the centre of the image does not line up with the high point, so I presume you have cropped more out from the right than the left. This is creating a tilted feel.

Also, the sky being so blown out with the sun is an unfortunate element of the image
