On the way home, saw a beautiful open warehouse. Turned out to be a clay manufacturing plant. We really enjoyed the light inside. The model is my girlfriend Inessa.

Like a painting by Thomas Hart Benton.

I love the light. This is a fascinating, compelling image.

Posthumous Red Ribbon.

a pretty picture, but does it reflect the theme of the category?

DMC, imo.

It appears there are some focusing and sharpness issues here, but then again it could be on purpose for arts sake... (sorry art!! lol)

I don't think the lens flare adds anything to the picture and the white balance is definitely something I am not used to seeing... This photo just confuses me apparently!

I like the image. it seems timeless but I don't see how you've made effective use of any rectangular shape. "where this basic shape is clearly shown as a key element" To me the framing of the doorway doesn't really count as it isn't really the key element. 5

Lovely picture, the focus isn't exactly dead on but I have a feeling that's on purpose. great colours, pose and framing, on of my faves in this challenge.

I am having trouble finding rectangles... Probably because I can't take my eyes off the model...

The rectangle was supposed to be the key element of the photograph, your subject is much too apparent, I had to search to even SEE the rectangle.

I'm sorry, but I really had to search for a rectangle in this one. If you are meaning the doorway as a rectangle, the top part is almost completely blending into the background on my screen. I wish it had worked a little better, because I find this photo very intriguing... 4 (sorry)

Love this shot but the "rectangle" is way too subtle.

I am failing to see the rectangles in this shot, other than the background bricks (Which really don't count). I will have to come back and look at it again.

A kind of Indiana Jones feel to this.

the light in the upper corner is distracting and takes away from the shot a but..but i like the framing of the subject with the doorway
