Just gorgeous!!! Great perspective of the Eye, wonderful tonal qualities. I'll buy the oblate spheroids bit. Hope others do too. If so... front page

I was debating how to vote on this one, as my first thought was that this is not a sphere. I looked it up on Wikepedia, and found this description as a subcategory of sphere:
A sphere can also be defined as the surface formed by rotating a circle about any diameter. If the circle is replaced by an ellipse, and rotated about the major axis, the shape becomes a prolate spheroid, rotated about the minor axis, an oblate spheroid.

In spite of a very good shot of the eye, I anticipate you are going to get creamed by folks who will not take the time to look it up.
