Idea to use a blender provided by my sister. To celebrate the Fourth of July I wanted to blend some patriotically colored items, so I chose milk, tomatoes, and blueberries. In retrospect strawberries would have been a better choice because the end product would have been edible but I like the way the tomato flesh looks in the shot. I know it's not technically that good but after dealing with cleanup I didn't feel like shooting a second set.

I just noticed that your shot came in just lower than mine. Given that I would have given my own pic about a 4 or 5, and I gave yours a 7, I'd like to officially apologize for 'robbing' you.

FWIW, you can have my place in line and I'll give you an honorable 92/102. It's kind of like getting one of those presents you really wish you had never opened the box to isn't it?

Sorry about that.

The lack of sharp focus really detracts for me.

I don't know why, but I quite liked this shot. Something about it grabbed me.

It's ultra-noisy and doesn't look all that great up close, but visually, it's very pleasing.
