 I took this on a walk with my daughter and my niece. I was setting up to take a more posed picture of the two of them when my 10-year-old daughter reached over to put a flower in her 15-year-old cousin's hair.

The hill on which our house sits is absolutely covered in these purple farewell-to-springs right now. I love the way it looks.

Google Earth's current imagery of our house was taken during last year's crazy farewell-to-spring display, which you can tell because the terrain is vivid pinkish purple. So these flowers are visible from space. ;)
