I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I like the way you have chosen to shoot this - the offset and rotation contributes things to the image which would have been lost with a straighter composition. Your colour handling is also effective, capturing an indoor feel. I also like the way that we can't help but try to count the storeys (10??)
Critical stuff: Not much - there is a finite amount of interest in this scene, but I like what you've done with it.
Overall: An effective image, made so by your composition choices. |
