 My first thought for this Absolut challenge was to shoot several bottles, because I believed that most people would shoot just one bottle, many bottles would hopefully make the picture more interesting.
So, I went to the next liquorstore and bought few Absolut bottles . To be able to return the bottles and get my money back seals had to be on the bottles, I knew that seals was not going to help for the photoshoot, but I took the risk. If I had removed the seals on this picture, it would have cost me $ 200 (5 x $40 bottle), I don´t drink so much vodka so it was not so hard to return them :)

This photo was taken while I was traveling with my family on western part of Iceland. I started at 1:00 am and drove to the countryside looking for a good location with 6 absolut vodka and miniature bottles in the car :). The night was bright and calm. I found a nice little waterfall that I photographed absolut for about 2 hours, satisfied with the pictures I drove back around 3:30 am to go sleep with my family in the tent , but on the way back I saw a small pond that was so peaceful. I had to check the option of photoshoot. The result: After 2 hours, alot of patience and 15 pictures it was time to go to bed. I took 13 pictures of all 6 bottles + miniatures but only 2 pictures with only 6 bottles like the chosen one that was taken 5.02 am.

Big thank´s to my wife for taking care of the kids in the morning, so I could sleep a little bit lol.
Thx to Offi for the Absolut Disko but next time I want also the bottle inside the disco cover :) , My good teammates in Imagio for the help to select this one for the challenge. Globus wine importer for the Absolut 100 bottle and the all minitures that me and my teammates are going to drink next sunday when we have the result of the DPL finals...............IMAGIO ROCK ON

What an honor to win a blue ribbon in this challenge. I was blown away by the quality and creativity of the images here. What a smart idea to use the bottles and return them. If only the ones who bought those bottles knew how award winning those bottles of Absolut are :) Congratulations! The image is spectacular!

Nice idea. Strange thing for me though is that the shot doesn't feel calm at all. It feels extremely dynamic with all the bottles at different heights and angles and distances to the camera. I think it reminds me of my new york street scenes which tend to have a lot of different planes. I really like the composition, but to be picky I would have made sure the reflection of the disco wasn't infringing so much on the mandrin. Anyway, thanks for sharing -9
