 I should tell the story that goes with this.

This was for the championship round of the DPL so I had to get out there and support the teammates (Go Team ViewFinders!)

I asked everyone I knew if anyone had a cow :D I found friends who had friends and I am greatful to them for their help. Of course, the people that owned these guys thought I was weird for wanting to do this but that goes with the territory.

So the lady took me to the barnyard, and a storm came up. I think this shot was after a brief drop and before the big downpour came in.

You know how you get so focused on getting the shot that you are not aware of your surroundings? Well I'm shooting away - had to hurry because of the storm. I tune out these murmurs of "be careful" coming from behind me. And then ZAP - yeah I got shocked by the fence that I really didn't even see in RIGHT IN FRONT of me :D

My left hand (not my camera thank goodness) took one for the team! :)

So you got up close and personal with cows, huh? Couldn't find the Absolut bottle?! ;)

My only nit-pick in this shot was that you should have cleaned the cow's face! The spit was distracting my eyes. ;) ROFL!!

Like this photo, esp. the cow in the foreground. I would have preferred the grass to be uniformly blurred. Actually, I think the bottom 1/4 could have been cropped out.
