Some sort of beetle (I think..) that I found in my house.. Very small, but I was able to get a nice shot of it's eye.

This was done with my "hacked" macro..

Took apart a broken lens and moved the mount to the front of the lens.. Nothing more.

Cool effect with the almost-nonexistent POF. :) I definitely enjoy seeing the grain of the buggy fur.

Interesting effect. The dof is very shallow, but where it;s sharp, it's very sharp. You have terrific detail in the eye, and hairy parts.
