thanks for all the comments. i'm terribly surprised how many really low votes this got, but i also recognize the major flaws (background, focus, i guess my color treatment didn't help)... that's what I get for a last-day shoot.
I wish I could claim credit for the idea. I wish I could have executed it better. Live and learn.

| I think if you cropped to just above the top of the grey wall, this photo would work alot better. I like the idea and composition, not sure what the product is, since the car is not in focus and the remote is not focused enough to read a brand name. Semi-successful ad. |

| Great idea, and I like the nearly duotone (without desaturation?) image. If only the background were less distracting, you'd have a winner. |

| Very nice idea. Where is the focus in this picture? its a little out of focus on the remote and car, would have preffered one of the two. The background is a little distracting, but a fantastic idea. |

This deserves a 10 in the creative idea department. But the execution brings it down somewhat. Background behind the car detracts. How about a different setting ... on a track possibly? Or even on a beach with golden sand and deep blue sky. Or possibly on a winding "drivers wanted" road at sunset.

| GREAT concept but you missed with the execution. Everything is a bit blurry. I'd play a bit more and get the car and radio in focus. Since the car is the "product" it should definately be in focus. |
