 I know I kinda lost alot of details (of the book). I tried to be a little adventurous with the lighting.
This is a front view of an openend book, with the main light source set behind the book pointing at the camera.

The dome effect is the lens flare (is that how it's called?)

At first I was having issues with this picture. The following went through my mind looking at this photo for the first time: "There's nothing book-like about this picture," Where is the well known rectangular-shape, and where are the pages?" I just "turned the page" first, looking through the photos, and then later on I returned to The Book of Secrets, and I looked at it, again, but this time differently when its uniqueness finally reached my brain.

The only place I see a book is in the title. DNMC in my view.

Interesting effect you have here. I do think it's neat, but also hard to see what exactly is going on (maybe that makes it more secret).
