 I am lucky enough to be located in Cooperstown NY again for the summer. I went out with the intention of photographing star trails, but I was overwhelmed by the number of fireflies that were surrounding me. One even landed on my tripod. I decided to risk some noise issues and bump my ISO high enough to capture the fireflies in the landscape and was really happy with how it turned out.

I like the mirroring of the fireflies and the stars. The large expanse of black in the lower right is perhaps a little off balancing though?
