Paper/origami boat ... very simple both in idea, production and shoot, yet not specifically mentioned in the challenge details ...
I originally wanted to have the boat in the foreground with some landscape in the background, but in order to do that I would have needed to purchase a wet-dry suit and some sort of water protection for the camera as I sat in the lake ... I may have some disposable income, but buying diving gear for my camera for a single online challenge isn't in the cards.
Furthermore, it was not easy getting to said lake, as I do not have neither a car nor driver's licence so I spent a while on a bicycle getting to and fro ... after eight hours of work at the factory. And it was about to rain, so I had a rather brisk ride home to beat it.
The front of the boat is a bit blurred, which will likely cost me some votes, but overall, I feel it came out well enough considering.
PS: my alternate title idea was "S.S. Recycled" :) |
