Thanks for the catch, it is Weston, my mind just left my body as I was typing.

My take seamed to be a little bit different from every one else so in stead of trying to shoot exactly the same shot as a much better photographer then me I would take a subject area and then shot it my way.

It appears that some people did take marks off for that and as I could not even get the spelling of his name correct that seams fair enough.

You mean Weston? His vegetable still lifes are great because they're such a great study of shape and form. I don't really "see" him in this shot. 5

Hmm.. Edward Weston (you've misspelled that..), creates images that have super rich midtones with a usually low key approach.. They often concentrate on organic forms and highlight folded or textured objects... I don't think that's what you have here.

It is however a nice image.. 5.
