Even though I leave near the ocean, I wanted to try something different: a tiny origami boat floating in a beautiful martini glass. I created a bunch of little boats of varying sizes, different colors. Forgot that paper is not waterproof... As soon as I put the boat in the water, it began to collapse. So I covered the "hull" of my last one with scotch tape to keep it from dissolving in the glass.

I played around with water levels in the glass and couldn't get the right angle - the "boat" didn't look very "boaty" through the glass, or from a variety of different angles. It helped when I added food coloring to the water, but it quickly settled on the bottom of the glass. I used a chopstick to very gently coax the dye to swirl around without tipping the boat. I was down to my last little boat, clicking away from every angle. I didn't even realize I'd taken this one until I downloaded them. Something about it just called out to me, and it's the one I chose.

Practically straight out of camera.

I see what you were going for here, but it doesn't really work for me. Instead of dreaminess, it just feels out of focus (sorry!).

The abstract effect is nice; wish the boat wasn't cut off on the edges. Also, whatever that is on the left edge is sort of distracting; wish it had been cloned out.
