This was different. I would have done some cropping left of the big tree (quadratic image), if it had been my shot. I love the light and the colours. Sorry you made it so small, because I think it is beautiful! |

The yellow of the canoe is great - outstanding contrast - but the shadows are too dark. They lack detail. |

lovely yellow canoe, but for me the rest of the pic is dark and difficult to see the detail |

The title indicates the canoe is what you are advertising, but it is too distant in view. It looks like a dark cloudy day or late evening, which you wouldn't associate with fun times on a canoe. |

I like the composition but the overall image seems very dark. Focus looks a bit off but it could be lighting. |

The technical problems in this image overwhelm the good idea. You've got the zaggities. This is usually caused by over compression. |

For some reason, the canoe looks funny in this picture. Almost as if it's floating in the air. |

Could have zoomed in a little bit more. |

Nice image (a bit too dark for me) and I cannot see how this fits into the advertisement challenge.
If I'm wrong, private e-mail me and let me know.

Is yellow canoe a specific product? Anyways, i like using the vivid yellow to stand out in the scene. The pic should be bigger though, did you use the full 640 that's allowed? Also, it seems kind of dark overall, you could probably lighten it up in editing. For greater impact, i think you could have used the "rule of thirds" and moved the framing of the canoe over, either by the original framing or cropping. |

Too dark, too far away. Can't make out what it's selling. The sandy(?) or whatever elements on the ground are very distracting, and also the odd blue colored area to the left that I *think* is above the water line. Very hard to see. |
