You forgot the T and added an extra L. ;-) Nice portrait -- the light's well done, and seems nicely layered, but, and it's a small point, your pose is too "Vogue" to be thoughtful. In my opinion, square crop doesn't work for this photo -- it seems to demand a standard portrait aspect ratio, despite what your right arm is doing. For square crop to work, you'd have had to really work your pose. In my view, the lines don't invite a square crop. For a portrait where a square crop really works, check yanko's "automne". The lines there complement the frame, and you'd have had to pull something like that off to make it work here. 6 |
