Sorry i think this may be a strong contender for the brown ribbon.
But that is just my opinion.

| The composition helps to create some impact from the subject matter, enhancing the horizontal direction of the textures. I don't think it quite does enough though. I personally feel that if the toes had been cropped out then the image would take on a more abstract character leaving the focus more on the thextures. |

| Ouch... though the purple doesn't show through enough on this photo (by no means would I suggest you go beating yourself up to deepen the purple!). Granted, this is very creative! I just wouldn't pick it to win the challenge. |

| My daughter sprained her finger this week and I was tempted. This is pretty gross so I'm glad I discarded that idea. |

| It does indeed look like a nasty booboo, and it probably will turn purple later, but it doesn't really look purple now--to me, anyway. |

| Yikes. Not sure I wanted to see that. At first glance, couldn't tell if that was top or bottom of foot. Nice contrast with background but foot is poorly lit. |
