 Taken the same day I did the bokeh shot. In fact, I found all sorts of critters to place on my iris "studio". I loved this shot, but the bokeh wasn't as good as the damselfly.

POST: Wow! Well, I thought with the score it was barely going to make the Top 10. I guess I got lucky with a low scoring month. Well, two ribbons in two hours of shooting. Some shoots are better than others I guess. ;)

I like this alot, its unusal for a freestudy and thats why i love it, theres always too many landsacpes and such that win free studys :) Well done.

I guess this scored so well because of the quality of the jewels rather than the pose of the spider. ;-)

Beautiful tack sharp focus but it seems a bit busy to me. I wish we were seeing the spider from a different angle.

INSANE!!!! This has it all, the blue from me. 10 (also: hate saying this because i'm often wrong: this seems distinctly Dr Achoo.....so if it's Jason: geez, you're on fire currently.....and if not: i hope you take it as a compliiment that you're image is mistaken for a guy with an average of 6.39 & 35 ribbons!)
