My pick for the blue. Great color and composition. I might have cloned out a couple of jet contrails and the two spikes behind his back, but that's about it. Wonderful! |

marvelous use of color against silohette. the hint of the reed and the dock frame your subject -- one of my favorites this challenge |

Other then the line on the upper right, that I can't figure out what it is, this is great. |

Great subject, but I don´t like the grayish hue. I would have played around with levels to get more contrast and have black=black |

I like this photo... it is very soothing. The sunset is captivating, but it is the figure of the boy that puts the power in this photo. My only complaint might be the line near the top right... not sure what it is, but it takes away from the photo. I would give this photo a 9 overall! |

Lighting seems very soft and delicate for this photo. Almost appears hazy. Would've liked stronger contrast, but that could be personal preference. Had this been darker, the woodgrain on the left and the details of the boy would be lost since they are so subtle. Also, that vertical "streak" in the clouds above the boy's head, adjacent to the tops of the weeds looks out of place and distracting. I would've cloned it out. Otherwise, nice composition. |

Amazing shot!! How long did he have to stand there before the water calmed enough for you to get this shot? :-) But seriously, you've created a beautiful scene here, the colors, the composition, the subject matter, they are all gorgeous! Well Done! Another top contender IMHO. |
