| selective desaturation was the last challenge. I dont think it really helps this picture at all. The bench isn't really purple either. |

| It is definitely a purple bench - but the green grass in combination make it garish for me. |

| Just my opinion but I think for photos like this, the lighting needs to be really dramatic in order to transform a mundane subject into an attractive image. |

| I like the take on this; I think it might be improved as a composition with a lesser crop and the bench not perfectly centered. |

| If selective desaturation was used, I would've desaturated the grass as well. Cropped a bit too tightly on the sides and top of bench appears slanted. |
