when I first saw this I thought it was a bar handle...it's taken me awhile to get it...although I like your DOF I feel that it's a bit to shallow given the shear size of your subject...just my opinion...

beautiful doorknob; I don't think the horizontal presentation does it justice and the color of the wood is a bit bland

Nice use of depth of field, creates an interesting shot. the colours are a bit balnd though, maybe better lighting, warmer shades would have helped.
