 The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan from 1632 to 1653. It was built in honor of his wife, whom he adored dearly. But enough with the history lesson! My family and I went to India for March Vacation and the entire time I was thinking what I could take a photo of for a DPChallenge! We woke up at 5:30 in the morning on March 17, 2010, which was my brother's 13th birthday, and made our way to the colossal wonder! This photo was taken at 6:36 AM as the gates were opening! To the Indians, the Taj is a very important symbol, and its neighboring Mosques. The people in the background illustrate the sheer size of the building! I really recommend that if you have some free time to look up the Taj's story— It is really cute! Thank you so much!

Beautiful composition, textbook really :) Personally I would prefer a bit more sharpness and contrast, or at least some "oomph".

nice classics take on the subject, it might be slightly underexposed as you have not detail in the shrubs on the sides.

I gave it a 6, but I would have certainly given it a higher score if this was processed better. So much potential :)
