 I had a lot of sunrises and sunsets on my trip. They're ok but maybe not up to the DP challenge standard. I enjoyed this image for the colors and the simple composition so who knows. Maybe DPC will too?

good job using the rule of thirds here but even still your shot is lacking the it factor. Perhaps if you could darken the clouds to make the look more threatening.
