I was helping my cousin with a film shoot in Toronto over the weekend. At the end of the shoot, I snapped this shot.

I put a softbox on an alienbees B1600 strobe about 10 feet away from him (on his side...)

Exposure/fill is a bit off. Maybe an hour earlier and the light would have been better. Good composition though. Like a trance cd cover.

Great shot!!! I am a fan of this guy and this is a great picture with lighting in the own style of the subject, what could be a better tribute? This will probably ribbon. (not voting)

IMO - too much open space at the top of the shot. The horizon is on the middle then and although the head is in the 3rds position it feels wrong to me

LOVE the lighting... except that his throat looks very oddly shaped from the light.

I'd have burned it. But, the pose and the situation are excellent. (not voting)
