 A Weaver ant captured with the Nikon D3 / Nikkor 105mm micro VR. Captured hand-held. The ant was placed on a reflective dark surface. The entire setup was placed beside a large window.

Lit with the ambient light from the window , supplemented with 2 macro flashes (R1C1) - one from the left and 1 from the right.
