So this must mean that DPL team members are communicating with each other letting them know what photo is "theirs"...I wish this could be proven more than with the stats. Thanks for your observations.
Edit: So team members are allowed to "know" other team member's photos but can't vote on them.

I can't believe those 1's, 2's and 3's. But this time is evident those votes came from competitors in the same challenge...just compare these two figures:
NON-PARTICIPANTS Average = 7.4065
PARTICIPANTS Average = 6.4571
A difference of almost ONE FULL POINT is not only statistically irrational and impossible, but gives us more than a clue on how voting patterns are affected by DPL. You were definitely robbed on this one.
edited to add:
1.- among the top 5 images, you are, by far, the most affected by the difference between non-participant vs. participant avg's.
2.- about the outtakes you consider too blurry...I like them even more than your entry |

I like the hurdle shots in this challenge. I'd prefer a slightly faster speed to stop his front foot. |

Easily the best of the jumping hurdles shots I've seen thus far. I like that you were able to isolate him from any distractive background -- and do it without Photoshop trickery. Really good lighting; excellent, determined expression. |

Delicious photograph of a beautiful moment. Sharpen in picture. Small minus point is that the elbow there net does not stand up. But you get certainly a high score. |

Super shot. Lighting is perfect. Deserves a ribbon. The hurdle imperfections are a tiny bit distracting. |

For me this challenge was about capturing in the moment action shots - not staged action. Other than that, I like this shot and would have loved it if his face had a greater sense of intensity as if he were truly running a race. |

sorry, but a big no go from me. studio shots just don't have a sports action feel to them, no matter how well they're taken. you might get points from the dpc eye-candy crowd, but not from me ;-) |

I want to believe that this was actually taken in a field and not in a studio. Regardless, it looks like it was setup. Great shot. Great lighting. Love the way he is making eye-contact. If it was not a setup shot, I would give it an 8 (if it isn't, pardon me for deducting a mark). 7/10. |
