In cases like this a graduated ND filter could help.
I find this photograph well succeeded considering the circumstances.

The whites could be still brighter without losing contrast in this well detailed image. |

Great scenery! I feel this shot could perhaps benefit from a slight adjustment in Levels or Curves. It was very possibly an overcast day, but having a little more range from black to white would really make this shot pop! |

Cool looking mountain. The contrast on the image is a bit flat. There really isnt much dynamic about it - it's just a bit drab. My craving is to see this in color. As a b&w it just doesnt stand out well. No vote - just comment. |
