 From the top of the Montparnarse building in Paris.

They tell me the red in the sky is from the Icelend volcano ash cloud. I was "stuck" in Paris for an extra week because of it. This was taken on the Saturday after the erution began. All air traffic was halted. Usually there are 3 or 4 plane trails when you take this shot. Not an issue this time.

I've always loved this view. I proposed to my wife from the spot 13 years ago.
