I know it's a nother chimp shot, but I really do take a lot of these. It's not an artistic 'pretty' shot, but I think it has some good context and hopefully wont be seen as a snapshot. Shot through glass through glass with my sigma 105mm lens.

That is fantastic, thanks for posting the link to it, I missed it! It looks like you were in the room with the chimp? So do you work at the zoo (given all your chimp shots)?

Great Photo. That turned out really good considering you went through the glass twice. Did you use a filter?

I loves pictures that tell stories. Very sweet & touching. The choice of using a chimp & a girl is great! The expression of both subjects is very well captured. It really shows a large degree of both physical & emotional connection. The b/w treatment works wonder here in bringing out the atmosphere. I also like the way the picture is divided into the sharper left and the blurer right-very artistic... and how the angle seem to suggest that the girl is the one in the cage instead.

Congrats, great shot, what I especially like about it is that the girl is behind the glass and that they really seem to connect, looking at each others facial expressions.

Ummm... which side of the glass are you on? Looks like you're right in there with the chimp, and I think that's what separates this from a snapshot. You could crop a bit more off the top, but still a great shot.

Just perfect - I love the expressions and the bit of light on her face. Who is in the cage anyways?

What a charming shot. The expressions are perfect. I would have likes a litle more contrast to the shot, but I don't know how that would work with the little girl.

The moment is captured wonderfully here, and that's really what matters.

This is an excellent story, I like it. I also agree to your choice to go for b/w colors would only take away allot of the impact for this shot. Verry good, I hope you do well, good luck!

My most favorite of the challenge. I don't think it can get much better than this. :) The composition is excellent, as well as the b&w treatment. But most of all the emotion that this photo projects is just awesome! 9

Fancy putting a girl in cage like this - disgraceful - but she does look happy, and so intelligent!! :D

Beauitful study - just superb.
