Camera: Canon EOS-450D Rebel XSi
Lens: Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS
Location: My backyard in Lincoln, IL
Date: Apr 14, 2010
Aperture: 5.6

Galleries: Nature, Animals
Date Uploaded: Apr 16, 2010

This picture was taken with an ISO of 640, F5.6, 1/320 shutter speed. I saw him outside in my yard so I got as close as I could with my 55-250mm EF-S lens for my Canon XSI. It last taken later in the day and you can see the nice lighting with the sun coming down through the fence.

DPC tutorial about preparing images for DP Challenges.
If you have Photoshop, maybe this will help. The max image size in pixels has changed to 800 pixels on the longest side since this tutorial was posted. If you don't have Photoshop, you can post a new thread, or research some of the older threads here about simpler ways to get the desired pixel count and file size. The file size thing confused me for a while, but someone here helped me learn how to set the file size.
This is a nice photo. Keep shooting and enjoy your time with your camera.

Nice bunny pic. Didn't feel it told me a story about zen.

too bad you didn't size this right. It looks like a very good photo, but it's really too small to see the detail. (not voting on it)

too small

Give yourself a chance to score well by giving us a chance to view your work. There are alot of nice colors and tones here, a cute subject in interesting light, but its not much bigger than a thumbnail. More bigger next time, at least 640 and the closer to the full 800 pixels the better your chances will be. If you dont know how to get it bigger, write me a note and ill point you towards the right recources to look at.

if this was bigger, and had this with contrast in bw, it would be a very cool picture! Did you resize this at all? please pm me. (although im only 16 i might have a tip or two.)

Sorry but I can not find any Zen in this one. And the bunny shot itself is average at the most

Nice the bunny accomodated. You should have tried to use the entire file size allowed, though.

No doubt your getting a low score and it's a shame because if you had made this bigger then I think it would have scored well.

Complacent, indeed! Never seen one sit still long enough! Good pic, but next time please try not to make sooo small. 800 pixels along the longest edge seems to work well.
