 A view through the forward anchor hawsepipe on USS Milius (DDG-69) guided missile destroyer. Each anchor chain link is solid steel, and over a foot long, weighing at least a few hundred pounds.

Too much going on here - very difficult to see what the subject really is - birds? snake? trash? I guess I don't know what a hawspipe is...sorry.
