 I was taking pictures from my car in an animal reserve and I was concentrating through the viewfinder on a pond across the way. When I lowered my camera, I was startled to find this goofy guy poking his head in my window. As for editing, I adjusted the levels a little, cropped it and cloned out a piece of another bird left from cropping.

what kind of ugly bird is that I never seen anything like it maybe once in a book is that a spoon bill or something like that? Having its beak out of focus kind of throws the balance off since you centered the bird.

Great perspective! While I wouldn't expect the beak to be in sharp focus, a tad more DOF there would have helped enormously! This one is a tad prettier than my entry!

This homely bird needs some photographic help. We don't see enough of him to get a sense of his extraordinariness.
