I am wearing a black tee under a black leather jacket and black leather show gloves. Sitting on a coffee table in the Closet of Doom, camera on tripod. Lit by a floodlight overhead and onboard camera flash.

Greetings fellow CC member!
So first things first: Your shot meets the challenge well, with a number of different black objects. You̢۪ve also got a variety of shades of black, which I think really is really good. Regarding the variety of hues, however, I think that things might be improved a bit by lowering the exposure just a tad to make the shadows and crenulations on the coat more prominent. I̢۪m also left wanting to see the bottom of the hand and the cuff. This is rather minor though, and what probably is the most distracting to me is the blurring on the backside of the hand, as noted by others. I like the shot though, and also that it isn̢۪t a complete studio stock shot, which are fine, but I enjoy some variety as well.
I like this shot but something strange is going on. The left side of the image is nice and sharp and crisp while the right side is sort of blurred or not quite sharp. It may be due to using a very low aperture like f1.8 or so and getting a field of focus of less than an inch. But it definitely goes from the wrist to the right jacket lapel. You can see it on the zipper and the snap.
