 I did a number of these self portrait shots but I preferred this slightly OOF image to the sharper ones. It seemed a little more oppressive and somehow less staged.

I'm sure I'll get killed for it.

Hehe, I've always had a thing for old gas masks. Great Image and theme.
The noise helps the journalist/documentary feel.

Seems very soft from a focus point of view. I love the idea and the pose. Adding some light from the back would help to separate the shoulders and neck more.
